Indian Rocks Beach - Food for Thought...

slycelivemusicsignAre we partial to Indian Rocks Beach? You betcha! We adore our little beach town and can't imagine living anywhere else! What's so special about Indian Rocks Beach? Well, there truly is not enough time in a day or space on this blog-page to list all of the stellar aspects of this glorious little town, but we'd like to address one aspect that we believe most visitors will appreciate... GREAT FOOD & Live Entertainment!

Indian Rocks Beach is home to some of the best Restaurants in the Clearwater-St. Pete and Tampa Bay areas. For such a small town, IRB offers close to 30 different restaurants which include a plethora of cuisine types, including: Surf & Turf, Thai, Mexican, French, English, Italian, and good 'ol American favorites. In fact, two of our local eateries have been featured on the Food Network! Keegan's Seafood Grill was featured on Guy Ferrari's show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and most recently, Crabby Bill's was featured on Aarón Sanchez and Roger Mooking's show, Heat Seakers.

While these two IRB eateries certainly deserve the noteriety of the Food Network, we believe that they are not alone. Most of the restaurants in IRB are truly local Gems, with fabulous Chefs; preparing and offering exceptional cuisine choices.

If you love yourself some "great-eats", warm hospitality, live entertainment and beautiful beaches, we suggest you add a visit to Indian Rocks Beach and our local Restaurants to your "bucket-list"! You can view all of the restaurant choices available in Indian Rocks Beach by visiting our Dining and Entertainment Directory.

Congrats to Chris & Carla - Wishing you a wonderful life together!

Our thanks to Chris & Carla from North Carolina for sharing their special day with us! They held their marriage ceremony on Indian Rocks Beach (at sunset), and afterwards entertained a small group of guests in the newly landscaped yard of SunRise/SunSet Villa. We really enjoyed meeting all of their friends and family. The groom's mom and aunt did a wonderful job with the outdoor decorations; it looked adorable! Our best wishes to the bride & groom for a long and happy life together. Thank you again for sharing your wedding day with us, it was absolutely lovely!

Play On The Beach...

beachplayYou don't need to "stay on the beach" to "play on the beach". All of our rental homes are just a few minute stroll from their front doors, to having your toes in the warm white sand and crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The City of Indian Rocks Beach maintains 27 beach access parks located all along the main Gulf Blvd. corridor. Four of our homes are just 7 houses away from the 20th Avenue beach access park, one is beachside and has private beach access, and the other is just a few minute stroll to the 17th Avenue beach access park. Limited parking spots are available at these accesses, and if you choose to drive, the trip takes about one-minute.

Take-In the Sights...

kayakingOur rental homes are surrounded by the intracoastal waterway to the east, and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. Our kayaks are a great way to get-out on the water and see the city from a different perspective. Take some time and paddle to one of the nearby spoil islands for bird watching, or grab your fishing license and a pole, and head-out past the Gulf buoys for some nearby-off-shore fishing.

Looking for a faster-paced option? Then you might want to rent a boat or waverunner for the day. Or maybe you don't want to be the captain... then you might want to consider taking a sunset dinner cruise. Whatever your preference; you'll find what you're looking for, in IRB!
