Renting a Boat or Personal Watercraft in IRB

Intra-Coastal Waterway or Inter-Coastal Waterway

The local public boat launch parks are located on the intra-coastal waterway which is located between the barrier island beach towns and the mainland towns in Pinellas County. The view from this waterway route includes small spoil islands, city park spaces, private homes, rental homes, hotels, marinas and several "dock-able" restaurants and bars. The intra-coastal waterway is also great place to take your canoe or kayak for a paddle. Fish are abundent, so be sure to grab some bait before you head out!

Gulf of Mexico Waterway

The Gulf of Mexico "open-water" is easily accessed from the intra-coastal waterway via the Clearwater Pass (to the north of IRB) or via John's Pass (to the south of IRB).
