Cozy Cottage Reviews

-"Amazing Stay!
My fiancé and I will always remember Indian Rocks Beach and the Cozy
Cottage as the base of our incredibly perfect vacation. With so much to do in the area and unbelievably nice weather, we didn't find ourselves inside too much, but after too much sun, this was a great spot to go "home" to. Clean, cute and airy with bikes, boogie boards
and more to use free of charge! We could see ourselves staying here for longer than a week and look forward to coming back to celebrate our recent engagement!

Thanks so much to Rox, Brian and the family. We miss Bob -- the cutest
great dane/pit! - Alex & Brian, New York" (May 2012)

- "We really enjoyed our stay at Indian Rocks Rentals.  The Cozy Cottage was just what we were looking for.  It was very comfortable and I can't say enough of how dog friendly it is.  We have 2 dogs and like to take them with us when we can.  The court yard was fenced in so we could let them out while we cooked on the grill in the evening.  The location is also great.  The cottage is just a block off the beach and in walking distance to restaurants and an English pub. Roxanne and Brian have it dialed in for pet owners to travel.  We will come back to stay again. ~Thanks again, Lori and Jim and of course Merlin and Penny, Florida Atlantic Coast" (fall 2010)

- "We had a great month. Hope to see you next year. ~ Our Best, Martha & Ralph, Boardman, Ohio" (January 2010)

- "We spent a month in Indian Rocks Beach in the Cozy Cottage. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well equipped and very well located, only minutes walk to get to the beach. We went there everyday. We brought our bikes and rode them every day, mainly on the Pinellas Bike Trail. This trail is very nice, paved and takes place over 49 miles through cities and wilderness areas. We traveled along its entire length and particularly enjoyed the section between Honeymoon Island and Tarpon Springs, very nice. We also rode the trail to St. Petersburg and really enjoyed the St.Petersburg Pier .

But the most important point is the quality of reception. The owners, Brian and Rox were friendly and concerned about our comfort and well-being during our stay. Always ready to render service and to inform us, really strong point of Indian Rocks Rentals! They provided us a great service when we had mechanical problems with our car. For this we are very grateful. In short, they are great! We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Indian Rocks Rentals! ~ Carole et Robert, Piedmont, Québec - Canada" (October/November 2009)

- "Thank you! Everything has been great! ~ Traci, Jasper, MO." (May 2009)

- "Rox & Brian, Thank you so very much. We had a wonderful time here and take with us a lot of awesome memories. ~ Thanks again and be well. Fondly, Suzanne & Arnie, Long Island" (April 2009)

- "We loved the entire experience! Indian Rocks Beach is the perfect destination to just get away...we went to a lot of different beaches up and down the coast from Clearwater to St. Pete, and Indian Rocks Beach was our absolute favorite! Beautiful sand, warm, clear ocean, and gorgeous sunsets. I also loved the little eateries within IRB, all within walking distance! We tried a lot of the local quisine, and loved it. Some of the places we stopped in were Guppy's, Cuso's, the Thai resturant, PJs, Pinky's Ice Cream (the best in IRB), TJ's, Keegan's, and a bunch more. Also, using the PSTA trolley was a great option for us, so there was no need to rent a car. I would highly recommend staying in Indian Rocks Beach. It was an absolute pleasure! ~ Jacob & Candi, St. Louis, MO" - (June 2008)

- "You will not be disappointed at all ,what you see on their web site is exactly how they look, they are very nice and very clean. They have everything you will need for the beach for kids and adults they even have beach towels and sunscreen!! They are always there if you need something. Very nice people! Will rent from them again. ~ Kim - Tampa, Florida" (Sunset Villa & Cozy Cottage - June 2008)

- "We spent a month with Brian and Rox when we rented their condo in Indian Rocks Beach. The condo is lovely, looks exactly like the pictures on their website so we had no unpleasant surprises. It was very clean and neat and had everything we needed. The sunsets on the beach were breathtaking and the food at the wide selection of restaurants close by was absolutely fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying there to our family and friends. Brian & Rox were great hosts! ~ Mike & Jan & canine friend Mikey - Coopersville, Michigan" - February/March 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011)

- "Hi Brian and Rox-The new pics are great and they make us smile when we look at them. We had such a great vacation! The cottage is well maintained and the decor is beautiful, very fitting of the area! We were comfortable from the moment you showed us around and felt at home instantly. Being so close to the gulf was a plus, with the gulf breeze amazing! We would chose to stay at our home away from home again and again!~ Ron and Tina,Chincoteague Island Virginia" - March 2007, 2008, 2010 (Cottage) - 2009, 2011 (SunRise Villa)

- "We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful week. Your cottage was the perfect place to come on our honeymoon. We looked at all sorts of options for our stay in Florida from condos to hotels, and we are so glad we found your rental. For others looking at staying here, its location is perfect. It took us about three minutes to walk from the house to having our feet in the water. At first when we were looking for a place to stay, we wanted something right on the beach, but this is actually better. We were away from the noise of the main street and other tourists, and felt like we had a more quiet and relaxing getaway because of it, yet still felt like we were right on the beach. Everything about the rental was even better than we expected. It was very clean, new, and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay from laundry soap to beach towels, chairs, and coolers. The cottage is also in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors, and it's nice to be so close to the inter-coastal waterway as well so we could see dolphins and different varieties of birds. Brian and Rox, you were awesome hosts! We felt so comfortable and welcome here. You were so helpful and we appreciate everything you did for us to make this such a wonderful and memorable vacation. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for perfect accomodations for a great vacation! ~ Brian and Kira - Cedar City, Utah" (April 2007)

- "We really enjoyed our stay. A quiet setting, conveniently located, in short, a perfect get away! The accommodations are very nice inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well arranged. Our maintenance issue (the shower) was promptly dealt with. Frankly I didn't think it would be fixed without tearing a wall or two apart! We were so pleased to find it running at full capacity after a day of walking the beach and visiting a nearby nature preserve. ~ Ken & Caryn" (April 2007)

- "Hi Rox and Brian, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time at the cottage. Thanks again, ~ Tricia, Tania, Tara and Matt, Texas" (June 2007)

- " Hi Brian & Rox, Everything about the cottage was better than we expected. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. If anyone is looking for a quiet location, less than a five minute walk to clean and uncrowded beaches with beautiful sunsets and no beach vendors, we recommend staying here. We found a low-keyed place to stay in IRB. ~ Ken & Grace, Burbank, Il" (June 2007)

- "Hey Rox, Ravyn and I really enjoyed our stay and couldn't have been more comfortable in the condo. It had everything that we could possibly need! Indian Rocks is a great little town! Keep me posted on when you get the other apartment done as I would love to see pictures of it and hopefully be able to come back down again next year with a few more people! Thanks for everything! ~ Missi & Ravyn, St. Ann, MO" (August 2007)

SunRise Villa Reviews

- "Awesome Experience. We had originally booked the Cozy Cottage as we were going to take our dog but ended up leaving him home. However, we stayed at Sunrise Cottage on the same property with same landlords it was AWESOME, LOVED IT AND ARE GOING BACK AGAIN NEXT YEAR. Had the opportunity to see the Cottage Cottager and it is absolutely beautiful. Everything about these properties is wonderful, expecially the landlords, the 3-5 minute walk to the beach. All I can say is that we had an awesome experience and felt so at home it was really hard to leave. The Sunrise Cottage, Sunset Cottage and Cozy Cottage are all wonderful places to stay and I would highly recommend them. - Frank & Kaye, Nova Scotia, Canada (May 2012)"

SunSet Villa Reviews

- "Wonderful! While seeking information, about this property, Brian and Rox were very easy to deal with, and answered emails quickly. We spent a marvelous 10 days at Sunset Villa. I was so delighted when we walked into the unit and it was as clean, beautiful, and comfortable as it looked in the pictures! I was surprised by how many supplies were provided for our use i.e., spices, beach towels, laundry detergent..what a great help it was to have a washer and dryer at our disposal! Our two boys loved pulling out the variety of beach toys and heading over to the beach. When planning our trip we had to decide between Sunset Villa and its close proximity to the beach, but without a pool, and another property with a pool, but a drive to the beach. Sunset Villa won out, and it was an excellent decision! We will recommend it! ~Gwen & Paul Daly, Newfoundland, Canada" (April 2012)

- "Brian & Rox, Thanks for everything. We had fun and thanks for all the help setting up [for our wedding reception in the yard], it turned out nice. ~ Chris & Carla, North Carolina" (September 2011).

- "Thank you. We had a great time, hope to stay again soon! ~ Tina & Bob, Ft. Meyers, FL" (May 2011)

- "We came down for a beach wedding in Clearwater, and I am sooooooo glad that we stayed here in IRB!!! We loved this area, the beach here was so great for our kids. Just a quick walk from the house. Beautiful parks and playgrounds, didn't have to pay for parking everywhere we went, good resturants, close enough to grocery stores,..and also a very nice family Urgent care office :( This unit is just like in the pictures, bright and clean. It was great for our family and some wedding guests that stopped by too. Brian and Rox are wonderful hosts, the place had everything we needed. Would love to stay again!!" ~Ed & Jenny, Michigan (April 2011)

- "My wife Diane and I stayed last November, 2009, (our first visit) in the 2br  2ba condo Sunset Villa.  We liked everything about it.  The warm welcome -  Brian and Rox are just great, laid back, friendly, helpful.  The comfortable  accommodations - everything you need is there.  A pleasant few-minutes walk  to the beach.  And it's just far enough off the main street that it is very  quiet.  We rode all around and across the bridge on the bikes that are furnished - for free!   We will definitely stay again at Sunset Villa. ~ Rob & Diane, Traverse City, Michigan" (November 2009)

Grandma's Beach Bungalow

 - 4-01 - 4/30/11 - "Wonderful month at Grandma's Beach Bungalow!! April just flew by and we hate to give it up and head home to NB Canada! Wonderful house; excellent beach and lovely people. The weather has been A+; unlike the terrible storms that hit the U.S. Just 2 thunder storms and they were fun to watch! Even Honey, our dog - 13lbs of American Eskimo, loved it here (and she is a snow dog!) Bought her the small blow-up pool and she enjoyed lazy cool days!! Very hard to go! But we'll be back! Thanks! Eh! - Sandy, Don & Honey, Moncton, NB Canada."

 - 01/2011 - "We really enjoyed our stay here at the bungalow! Rox & Brian are very nice people and very helpful also. But now we must leave and go back to the cold in Tennessee. Even with the unusually cold weather, we were able to get in three days at the beach! - Larry & Cheryl, Fairfield Glade, TN." (Grandma's Bungalow)

 - 12/24-12/30/10 - "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grandma's Beach House. The weather outside was 30-40 degrees at night and 45-60 degrees during the day. Unseasonably cold - no swimming at the beach! But we have had a nice time regardless. Rox & Brian were so friendly and helpful. If we're ever this way again, we will stay here again! - Tom & Sharon, Burlington, KY." (Grandma's Bungalow)

 - 06/14-06/28/10 - "Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely beach house. Our honeymoon has been made even more perfect by having all the amenities. Whether in the car or on foot, the local people are so polite and courteous, a breath of fresh air, so to speak. Having the beach so close has been great. A morning stroll daily and watching the sunset was lovely and romantic. Thank you. We really hope to come again. - Jan & Mark, from England." (Grandma's Bungalow)

 - 02 & 03/2010 - "Absolutely love Grandma's Beach Bungalow! Having so much room this year made it possible for some of our children & grandchildren to fly down and spend some time with us. (Usually we're in the cottage across the street with only 1 bed/ 1 bath - and 1 TV). Even though it was much cooler than usual this year, we had a great time. IRB is a lovely community with friendly people and wonderful places to eat! I love the way the house is decorated - especially the cool beach house colors. Thank you for allowing us to call this our home this winter. - Mike & Jan, Coopersville, MI."(Grandma's Bungalow)

 - 03/27/07 - "Loved Indian Rocks Beach and loved GBB! Hate to leave... This is a great little beachy town, and GBB is a great place to call "home" while visiting here. We came here for Spring Training (go Phils!), and just to spend some time in FL with the kids (3 & %). Often we'd be driving back--either from a Phillies game, or Busch Gardens, or wherever, and the kids would ask" are we going home?", we would have to ask which one- our home in PA, or our home in Florida! Loved It!! (Notes: Good food at Red Lion & Guppy's) - Randy, Melissa, Micah & Emma, Pennsburg, PA." (Grandma's Bungalow)

 - 03/13/07 - Left Sudbury, Ontario and it was -30 degrees. Flight out of Buffalo cancelled due to fog, flew out next day. Landed in warm evening, spent next day at beach!  - 01/07 - " What a great little bungalow with all the amenities of home. Had a great time exploring - think Indian Rocks Beach has the best beach along the coast. The Brass Monkey in John's Pass (south) is a must for great service and good food; as is Crabby Bill's in St. Pete! See you next year (or maybe sooner). - Dayna, Littleton, CO." (Grandma's Bungalow)

 -10/2011 - Hello Mike & Regina,

We have been here the entire month... and that was too short! We have enjoyed our stay, the community is very dog-friendly for our Bubby. There is one other Newfoundland here on IRB, Shamus, and he is Bubby's Uncle! We were so surprised to meet another brown Newfi here & they happened to be related! We have relaxed here, enjoyed the beach, weather in October is the best and will continue to visit IRB! Many thanks to your wonderful neighbors, as well as, Rox & Brian! Connie, Bob & Bubby, Pittsburgh"

"We were so blessed to find this home while our Largo home was repaired. It was a perfect fit for our family. Our kids (2 & almost 5) loved the pool, the proximity to parks, the beach, the ice cream shop, etc. It was a wonderful home for us for the month. We only wish we could have stayed for the duration of our construction. Thanks for making such a welcoming place for us. P.S. Great neighbors too! We've made some great friends. - “Hello Mike & Regina - We’ve had a great time and great weather at your Indian Rocks Beach house this month! It is a very cute and clean place, a pleasure after some of our past rentals.

We enjoyed our morning bike rides and walks on the beach. Had many picnics at the beach too. Played lots of golf in the area as well.

Our daughter & family live in Seminole and we spent a lot of time visiting there. A bit of a drive but it worked out fine. Our month passed by very fast!

Your neighbors are very pleasant and friendly - a nice area! A couple more days with the family and we’ll be heading back to Mass - Cape Cod. Hopefully to be back next year. If you ever come to Cape Cod, look us up. We’ve left our brochure here. Thanks again, Charlie & Eileen” - (Private Paradise - February 2011)

- "Thank you so very much for responding immediately to our requests.  And thank you so much for continually checking with us to ensure all was well. We really appreciate you. Our stay was great and we love Indian Rocks Beach and surrounding areas. Sincerely, Robin & Mike, Charleston, WV" (November 2010)
